ABOUT ME
Writing is an incredibly powerful tool that I began to embrace early on, thanks to countless inspiring teachers. Throughout my formative years, I was encouraged to pursue writing and thrived in that environment. I was captivated by the emotions writing evoked and the influence words wield. My journey took me into academia as a poet, storyteller, and advocate for young writers, aiming to share the magic of words with them. I have maintained my awe for written word, and the challenges brought on by Covid-19 ignited a new passion: Instructional Design. My enthusiasm for Learning Design arises from its similarity to the writing process, emphasizing meaningful connections with the audience and learners. The structured ADDIE model is similar to the drafting phase of writing: learner-centered design balances the needs of learners with client expectations and input from stakeholders, akin to the publishing journey—an adventure in which I thrive.
I feel at home in Instructional Design and am eager to enhance my skills, creating solutions that effectively address problems. As a dedicated and driven professional, I continuously seek to refine my techniques, broaden my skillset, and explore new avenues for growth. My work in both writing and learner-centered design has facilitated this development and helped me establish a presence in this dynamic industry. I invite you to explore my portfolio and welcome any questions you may have.
